A. Preparation is the most important part of the job. For interior painting, the prep work includes
covering all furniture with plastic, placing drop cloths on the floors and putting blue tape on
baseboards and surrounding areas. We patch or seal any stained areas and hand sand where
required. For exterior painting the preparation includes pressure washing, caulking, scraping, sanding and priming of all bare wood. We also do a carpentry inspection to identify any areas of concern.
A. Our schedule varies at different times of the year. Typically, we run 4 to 6 weeks out. If you have a specific deadline, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.
A. Paint is included in our estimates and we use very high-end paint and materials that allow us to warranty our work. Our preferred brand is Sherwin Williams, however we will use another high quality brand if requested.
A. If you are comfortable making the decision by yourself, you can stop by your local Sherwin Williams store and choose your colors. We just need the Sherwin Color Codes of your choices. We request that your selections be provided to us at least a week in advance of your project. *minimum purchase required
A. We ask that all furniture be moved at least 3 feet from the walls and all walls cleared of decorative items. We also ask that you remove all outlet covers and switch plates. If you need assistance, we are happy to help but we are not liable for property while moving.
A. No, we realize it can be challenging for our customers to be on site while we are working. You can trust that our painters will treat your home and belongings with the utmost care. Our Production Manager / Owner will monitor production as well as quality and provide updates. Of course, if you prefer to be at home, that is fine as well.
A. It depends on the size of the job so once the job is scheduled, we will let you know how long we estimate it to take.
